The Society has an extensive Archives of Saddleworth material. It includes books and published articles, maps, photographs as well as original documents.

Many researchers have deposited their notes and copies of documents such as deeds and wills.  These include:

Bernard Barnes

E Edwards

Julian Hunt

Leonard Kidd

The Archives are stored at Saddleworth Museum, complementing and sharing a room with the Museum’s own Archives.
